LastCall Deals is a small app that shows discounted items from local stores and lets you hold them for pickup.
Policy version 2026-10-27.2. You are asked to accept this policy after you sign up or log in, and again whenever it changes.
💲 Store fee
Stores pay LastCall Deals a fee of 10% of their profit on each deal a shopper picks up: (deal price − cost) × quantity × 10%, rounded to the cent. If the profit is $0 or less, the fee is $0. There is no fee for no-shows, cancelled holds or expired holds. A deal's cost is locked once it has a hold. Fees are added up each month and invoiced monthly; there is no online card payment yet. Shoppers never pay a fee.
📅 Expiration dates: your responsibility
Stores, store employees and shoppers are each responsible for checking the expiration date printed on every item. Stores must check dates before posting and at pickup. Shoppers must check the date on the item before buying. A deal in the app stays up until 12:00 AM (midnight, Central time) at the end of the expiration date the store entered; the app does not check the item itself.
What we store
- Shoppers: name, username, email, the address you enter and its map location, search radius, followed stores and your holds.
- Stores: store name, username, email, address, phone, pickup notes, hours, and the items and deals you add (including photos).
- Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, never in plain text.
How it is used
Only to run the app: showing deals near you, managing holds, and letting stores see who is picking up a hold (shopper name only). We do not sell or share your data and there are no ads or tracking scripts.
Cookies and sign-in
Stores get one sign-in cookie; shoppers get a sign-in token saved in the browser. Sessions end after 1 day, or 30 days if you choose "Keep me logged in".
Other services
Addresses are turned into map locations with OpenStreetMap Nominatim, and barcodes may be looked up in Open Food Facts. Only the address or barcode is sent.
Phone alerts and map
If you turn on phone alerts, your browser gives us a push address for this device; it is used only to send hold and deal alerts and is deleted when you turn alerts off. The map loads its code from unpkg.com and map images from OpenStreetMap, which see your IP address like any website.
Your choices
You can change your details or ask the site owner to delete your account and data at any time.
Pickup reliability
To keep holds fair, we work out a private reliability score from your pickups, missed pickups (older ones count less and fade out after 90 days), account age, and any store blocks. Cancelling well before a hold ends does not count against you. The score is never shown as a number to anyone. Stores only see a short label (New, Reliable, OK or Watch) on your holds. Newer accounts can have 2 holds at a time, and accounts with several recent missed pickups 1 hold with a shorter time, until they pick up.
Saved places (Home and Work)
If you save Home or Work addresses for "Along my route", we store the address and its map location on your account only. Stores and other shoppers never see them. To find the route we send the two map points (not your name) to the free public OSRM routing service (router.project-osrm.org); if it does not answer we use a straight line. You can delete either saved place any time, and it is removed from your account right away.
Item photos
Stores may add photos of items. Photos are re-saved on our server in a smaller size, which removes hidden data such as camera location (GPS). If you report a photo, it is hidden right away and the site owner reviews it; we keep who reported it so one shopper cannot report the same photo twice.
